Hello Europe! We have great news: Our first Smart City Bootcamps in Tampere and heidenheim have been a great success. On cool locations, we have given an all-around introduction to Smart City topics to highly diverse groups of participants from all corners of our target group. This enabled a multi-faceted view of the Smart Cities sector.
Feedback from the participants was truly positive. The tenor was that it had been exciting, informative and entertaining days. Some expressed the desire to delve deeper into specific Smart City topics. DCEx staff was pleased to see lively discussions spark between the participants. This was sometimes controversial, but the spirit of the events always remained constructive.
Of course, while participants were learning about Smart Cities, we paid close attention to their reactions to certain topics, their knowledge and assumptions. We also recorded statements. Thus, the bootcamps are a crucial element in the development of our course materials, since they give us a direct feedback opportunity from the target group.
There are two more Smart City Bootcamps programmed for automn of 2022 in Hallein near Salzburg and Ancona. So, as always, stay tuned!
